Plan with confidence

Choosing a Cozumel reef day

Match the format to your experience

Confident swimmers may enjoy a boat-based drift snorkel, while beginners often benefit from strong flotation support, a smaller group, and a shorter route. Certified divers should compare guide ratios, tank and gear arrangements, pickup logistics, and how sites are selected for the day’s conditions and experience levels.

Understand that the reef sets the plan

Wind, current, visibility, marine-park rules, and boat traffic can change the exact sites or sequence. A careful operator will explain those limits rather than promise one named reef in every condition. Wildlife is never guaranteed, and crowding an animal or touching coral is not part of a responsible encounter.

Prepare before boarding

Confirm what equipment is included, whether prescription masks or wetsuits are available, and what food or water is provided. Eat and hydrate appropriately, use sun protection suited to the activity, secure loose items, and tell the crew about medical concerns or seasickness before departure.
